Simply Beautiful Kacy

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you've had a good weekend! Tonight I'm going to be sharing with you a custom from Simply Beautiful she called Kacy. I'm kinda partial to the name LOL. Let's get started!
Simply Beautiful Kacy is in a clear base but it is full of pink holographic micro glitters. It's my favorite color, so of course I just love it!

For my mani I used 3 coats of Simply Beautiful Kacy and topped it with 2 coats of Ellagee glass topcoat. Formula was just a tad thick, but that's only because of all the glitter she has packed into it! If it is something that bothers you, you can always feel free to add just a touch of thinner to it. Dry time on Kacy was very quick!

I generally do all of my swatching at night, so I tried forever to get a good picture of all the sparkle that Simply Beautiful packed into Kacy. The above picture captures it beautifully! She has tons of other polishes over at her shop as well. She offers a very wide variety of colors, and I can't wait to pick up some more. You can also find Simply Beautiful on instagram, that's where she is most active.
That's all I have for tonight. I'm off to watch some Sunday Night Football! Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Shleee Polish Derpy 2.0

Good evening! Hope you're having a nice weekend so far! Tonight I have for you another Shleee Polish. This one is called Derpy 2.0. This is a remake of the original Derpy Hooves that Shleee made and had a big enough interest in so she remade it. I have to say, I love it! Let's take a look!
Shleee Polish Derpy 2.0 is one of her polishes from the My Little Pony collection. Derpy 2.0 is a light bluish gray jelly that has yellow flower, heart and circle glitters. As if that wasn't enough, Shleee added a blue and purple shimmer to it as well. It matches Derpy the My Little Pony character perfectly! I only know that because my daughter is obsessed with Derpy, and I may have watched an episode or two with her. LOL.

For my mani I used just 2 coats of Derpy 2.0 and finished it with 2 coats of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That topcoat. Formula on Derpy 2.0 was perfect and dry time was amazing as well. Normally these murky colors look funky on me, but I really enjoyed this one! I love that the sizes of the yellow glitters aren't too big. I wasn't able to get any of the heart or flower glitter, but I promise that they're in there.

So what do you think of Shleee Polish Derpy 2.0? I hope you love it as much as I do. If you're wondering what the original Derpy Hooves looked like, you can find Shleee Polish on Facebook and in her latest post today, it shows the 2 bottles next to one another. I love how she did this polish, I really do! She has a HUGE selection of polish on her etsy. She has an amazing amount of different MLP polishes, in fact, she just listed one earlier this week. But if MLP isn't your thing, no worries! Just yesterday she released a glitter polish that looks like something off the cover of a Lisa Frank cover. It is so fun! Just take my word for it that you need to go take a peek for yourself! She has something for absolutely everyone! I've only been getting her polishes for a little over a month, and I already have almost double digits.
That's all I have for tonight! I hope you have a good week next week and have a very Happy Thanksgiving! Until next time, take care and I'm thankful for each and every one of you!! XOXO

Shleee Polish Princess Cadence

Happy hump day! Hope you're having a good week so far! Tonight, I'm going to be sharing with you another My Little Pony polish from Shleee Polish. This one is called Princess Cadence. Let's take a look!
Shleee Polish Princess Cadence is part of her My Little Pony Collection. If you missed my other review on Twilight Sparkle, you can find it here. Princess Cadence has an assortment of colored glitter in different size circle glitters. Not only does it have circles, it also has purple squares and pink hexes. It's put in a clear base, so it makes it super versatile to wear over any color!

For my mani I used 2 coats of Shleee Polish Princess Cadence over top of Zoya Rooney. I finished it with 2 coats of Out The Door Topcoat. Everything about this polish is perfect! The formula and dry time was impeccable. I was very impressed that I didn't have to fish for any of the larger circular glitters!!

If you're interested in finding Shleee Polish, you can find her on Facebook and etsy. I have several more of her My Little Pony polishes coming that I'll be sharing with you. My daughter is most excited about the Shleee Polish Derpy 2.0. If you're looking for Frozen inspired polishes, make sure you go check out her etsy site listed above.
That's all I have tonight. I'm off this weekend, so I'll be back with a post sooner than this one. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Shleee Polish Twilight Sparkle

Hi there! Hopefully you are having a good week so far. Tonight I have for you a newer indie that I haven't tried yet. Let me just start by saying that if you haven't tried any Shleee Polish, run down walk to her etsy shop. These are some of the best glitter toppers that I've used! I'll hush and let the pictures speak for themselves.
Shleee Polish Twilight Sparkle is part of her My Little Pony Collection. Twilight Sparkle has purple, pink and you can even find some blue glitters set in a clear base. There's micro glitters, squares, stars, circles, diamonds and hexes. Some of them are even holographic. Did ya get all that?! There is an excellent amount of variety in the glitter sizes that she used in Twilight Sparkle.

For my mani I used 2 coats of Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac, 2 coats of Twilight Sparkle and topped it with 2 coats of Rainbow Honey topcoat. The formula on this was perfect! Dry time was exceptionally fast too. Normally I have to let the bottle sit upside down for a little bit to help the glitters come down. This I had a nice glitter pick up each time I put the brush back in the bottle.

If you look in my macro shot, you can even see a little yellow glitter in there! This was my first purchase from Shleee Polish, I can guarantee I'll be buying more since I've already purchased others in this My Little Pony Collection. My daughter may just be a little excited about it too! You can find Shleee Polish on Facebook and you can find her polishes on her etsy shop. She currently has over 40 different polishes that is in her shop. I'm already making my next list of ones I'm wanting to get.
That's all I have for tonight. I'll be back soon to share some more Shleee Polishes with you. Until next time, take care!!! XOXO

Mentality Lollipop

Happy hump day! Hope the week has been good to you! Tonight I have for you one of the polishes from the Mentality Candy Jello Holo Collection. I'll be showing you Lollipop. Let's take a look shall we?!
Mentality Lollipop is 1 of 9 polishes in the collection. Lollipop is a light purple linear holo that is simply incredible. The formula is a little thick, but if you have purchased any of Mentality polishes in the past, you know that they're known for their stamping polishes. So it is nice that is doing double duty.

For my mani I used just 2 coat of Lollipop and topped it off with 1 coat of Rainbow Honey Royal Fruits scented top coat. It was great to work with and it dried super fast!

I can't wait to try stamping with this! You can find Mentality on Facebook as well as their shop. They're always having sales going on as well as offering new pallets to try. Mentality Lollipop is just $7.25, so it's a great price! If you haven't tried a Mentality yet, you really need to go pick one up.
That's all I have for tonight. I'm off to watch the premier of American Horror Stories. Until next time, XOXO!!

Origami Owl Review

Happy Sunday. I've been sucking more than normal lately, for that I apologize. I'm currently looking for a new job and I've had some deaths in the family this week. Let's just say I'm looking forward to next week! Today I have something a little different for ya. I'm sure you've heard of Origami Owl, but have you tried them yet? This is my 1st experience with them and let's just say it won't be my last! I was so exited by receiving these pieces, that I didn't think to take any pics of the presentation and the cute little boxes that they come in. I was like a kid in a candy store when my mailman came! Let's get started!
I saw that Origami Owl came out with a charm that said Love You More. My husband and I say that multiple times a day, so I knew I had to have that one. I also chose a J as well as a K. One of the things I love most about Origami Owl is how versatile everything is! It doesn't matter if you wear jeans and a t-shirt everyday or a suit for work, they have something that will work for everyone! Let's look at the pictures.

For my chain, I chose a 24in silver curb chain. It has a very secure clasp since it used a lobster claw clasp. It also has an extender on it so that you can find the length that works best for you.

I enjoy that the rings on the charms are large enough that you can easily switch between different Origami Owl chains. They offer several different colors as well as lengths. I wear this necklace each and everyday for work. It has become my staple piece of jewelry. Another thing that I think is awesome, is the prices for Origami Owl pieces are VERY affordable! So you aren't going to break the bank treating yourself or picking up gifts for the holidays. If you're interested in looking at some Origami Owl pieces, make sure you click on this link: http://laughlivelovelockets.origamiowl.com. Shea is super sweet and always available to answer any questions you may have. She makes purchasing Origami Owl very easy and effortless. You can find her on IG http://instagram.com/lashgurl, or you can use @lashgurl if you're using the Instagram app. Make sure you also follow Shea on Twitter as well, since she's always posting pics of new items up on Twitter as well as Facebook, https://mobile.twitter.com/caithaml_shea and her Facebook is https://www.facebook.com/Sheaslockets?ref=bookmarks. If you're using the Twitter app, you can find Shea on @caithaml_shea. With the holidays getting closer, I'm sure Shea has some specials up her sleeves that will make getting any Origami Owl piece that much easier, and who doesn't love saving money?! Like I said, you can find her at any of the above links I posted and of course if you have any questions, you can also ask me and I'll get you an answer. She also has a referral code just for my readers! It is KacyDunbar477472.
That's all I have for today, I'm about to get ready for some Sunday football games to come on! Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Above The Curve Glow In The Dark Collection

Happy hump day!! Hope you've had a good beginning of the week so far. Today I have for you 3 polishes from Above The Curve. If you've been reading my posts from the get go, you know that I have a huge thing for glow in the dark polishes. So when I saw that Above The Curve was coming out with some, I knew I had to get them. They didn't disappoint at all! Let's get started!
I'll start out with It's Electric. It's Electric is a bright neon purple that is full of bright blue flecks. As if that wasn't enough, it also has just a hint of holo. This as well as the other 2 dry matte, so if you want it shiny, make sure that you put a good top coat over top of it.

For my mani I used 4 coats of It's Electric and topped it with just 1 coat of Ellagee Glass Topcoat. The formula on all of these was excellent to work with and they are also fast drying as well.

Next I'd like to show you Lite Brite. Lite Brite is a light orange that also has a hint of holo. I like that this is a softer orange and not a super bright in your face orange. I think that will make it easier for people to wear year round.

For my mani I used 4 coats of Lite Brite and also topped it with 1 coat of Ellagee Glass Topcoat.

Lastly, I have Glow With The Flow to show you. Glow With The Flow is a bright pink glow in the dark polish that like the others have a hint of holo in it.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Glow With The Flow and topped it with 1 coat of my Ellagee Glass Topcoat. As I listed above, the formula as well as the dry time on this was superb!

If you haven't purchased any of Above The Curve's polishes, what are you waiting for?! They always have some sort of fun going on at their Facebook page. They donate $1 for EACH bottle of polish they sell to Shriners Hospitals for Children. So not only do you get some new polish, you are also helping out a good cause. You can purchase Above The Curve polishes on their etsy or their big cartel  site. With Halloween right around the corner, how awesome would these glow in the dark polishes be with some sort of nail art over top?! You can purchase these as a set of mini for only $12 or a full size for just $23. That wraps it up for tonight. I hope you all have a good rest of your week. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

365 Days of Color Lip Balm

Hello there. I want to apologize for the long silence here lately. I have spent the last month moving and this past week I was in the hospital for some serious medical issues. Hopefully I still have a few of you out there. It has been cooling off quite nicely here where I am. Makes me super excited for Fall to come. I was given the opportunity to review a new line for Sunny, and I couldn't have been happier when I found out it was lip balm! I almost have as much lip balm as I do polish.
I was sent Chocolate Mint to test out and it smelled almost good enough to eat! I always apply my lip balm before I go to bed, it is just a habit I have. I was pleasantly surprised that when I got up the next morning, my Chocolate Mint was still on there! It applies like butter and it isn't sticky at all.

As you can see in my picture above, she lists all the ingredients on the back of the lip balm so it makes it nice and easy to read.

I think one of the best things about getting a lip balm from 365 Days of Color are she currently has over 41 different flavors!!! Even your local beauty supply store doesn't have that many!! This will be in my pocket of my jeans at all time this winter. Sunny is also coming out with a Halloween Box tomorrow Sept. 15th for just $22 plus shipping. You will be able to grab yours between 9-10am pst. You can find Sunny on Facebook and your can purchase any of her body products in her Storenvy. I've been using her cuticle oil for over 2 years and I never leave home without it. If you can, seriously give her Halloween Box a try. You get lip balm, cuticle balm, hand cream, hand scrub, cuticle oil and her amazing intensive cuticle oil. Stop by her Facebook page and there you can find all the scent info she has listed on her page.
That's all I have tonight. I'm headed to the couch to rest for the remainder of the evening. I hope you all have a great start to your week. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

I was sent this product for review. The opinions given are my own and are not influenced in any way.

Ellagee Blueberry Ella-ment

Good evening! Hope you've had a good start to the week. Tonight I have a special Ellagee polish to share with you. Let's get started!
Ellagee Blueberry Ella-ment is a vibrant bright blue linear holo. It had me staring at my nails all day today at work, as well as getting compliments on them!

For my mani I used just 2 coats of Blueberry Ella-ment and I used my Ellagee Glass topcoat. If you haven't tried her topcoat out, you need to! Blueberry Ella-ment had a terrific formula as well as dried fast. The pictures in natural light really doesn't show the true color of this polish. The most accurate picture with the color of Blueberry Ella-ment will be shown using the flash from my camera.

The last picture is the best at showing the vibrant blue of Blueberry Ella-ment. Are you a HUGE fan of Ellagee and her polish? If you are, you need to find her fan group on Facebook. She made Blueberry Ella-ment as a group custom. Make sure you are following Ellagee on her Facebook page. You can also find all of her polish goodies over at her Storenvy. She just today, started a pre-order for some new pretties that you won't want to miss out on. Like I mentioned above, if you're looking for a new top coat, give Glass a try. You won't be sorry you did. That's all I have for tonight. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

MDJ Creations Night Lights

Happy Monday! It has been the best type of Monday in my house! We will be moving in the next couple weeks, so that has had me all sorts of crazy. But, today I was offered a job where we will be living. I was in the middle of doing my nails when I got the call, so this mani is extra special! Tonight, I'll be sharing with you MDJ Creations Night Lights. The name for this polish is absolutely perfect! This reminds me exactly of what it looks like when I look up into the sky at night.
MDJ Creations Night Lights is a beautiful black jelly polish that has holographic glitter in different shapes as well as being holographic.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Night Lights and topped it with my Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. The formal on this was perfect as was dry time. The first couple pictures are taken inside using artificial light due to the weather not behaving. Even in the inside lights, you can still see that holo jumping off the nail. This polish also glows in the dark, but since the weather was less than perfect today, I couldn't get it charged enough using my black light.

I'd have to say this is my 2nd favorite of the polishes that I have purchased from MDJ Creations. I honestly don't have anything else like it in my collection, and I have quite the collection. LOL. Right now she is on vacation, but she'll be back August 3rd. You can find MDJ Creations on Facebook as well as her etsy shop. She offers not just polish, but also offers jewelry as well as lip balm. Make sure you go check her out. That's all I have for tonight. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Digital Nails Wow and Much Glitter

Hello there! Hope you're having a good start to your week. Today I'll be showing you Digital Nails Wow and Much Glitter. I hope you like awesome polish, because this post will be full of it! I'll start with Wow. Let's get started shall we?
Digital Nails Wow is inspired by a game from Facebook that Raph got hooked on. If she makes polishes like this after she gets hooked on a game, I hope she gets hooked on more games in the future! Wow is an incredible silver linear holographic polish. I love that it's a soft shade of silver if that makes sense. It's so soft and delicate looking.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Wow and topped it off with Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. I could have got away with 2 coats, but I did a third out of habit. I still had slight VNL, but I was so mesmerized by the rainbows in this polish I didn't even care. Formula wise, it's stellar and it had a very quick dry time. This is my 1st silver holo and I'll just say, it definitely won't be my last.
Lastly, I have for you Digital Nails Much Glitter. Much Glitter was also inspired by the same video game that Wow came from. See why I said she needs to get hooked on more games?! Much Glitter is a clear based glitter that has almost every color from the rainbow in it. You can find micro glitters, triangles, squares, hexes and a couple different size stars. There are 20 different types of glitter packed in these bottles.

For my mani I layered Much Glitter over Wow. I thought with the color of Wow, it would be a good canvas for all the different colors and shapes of glitter in Much Glitter. I did 2 dabbed coats and topped it with 2 coats of Gelous. Formula and dry time on this was very good as well. I did place my bottle upside down for a little while so that all the glitters came down easily. I love that no matter what, when you put the brush back in the bottle you'll be getting some sort of glitter on it. With all the colors in Much Glitter, there is no wrong base color to use with it. You can find Digital Nails on Facebook as well as etsy where you can find all of her polish as well as her top coat that I would swear by. No matter what your taste, Digital Nails has something for everyone. She also has some pretty amazing thermal polishes as well. That's all I have for today. Take some time and go give Digital Nails a like on Facebook so you can keep up with all her updates. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Rainbow Honey Chemical Plant

Hello! Sorry it's been so quiet. I'm working thru some stuff at home. Today, I'll be sharing with you a new polish from Rainbow Honey called Chemical Plant. If you receive the mystery bag she offers, you would've seen this in your bag. I just have to say, Rainbow Honey has one of the BEST mystery bags that I have ever received. There is tremendous value in what you receive and you get a little bit of everything each month. I receive the mini size, and I really enjoy it! If you're interested in getting her mystery bag, I'll provide the link to her site below.
Rainbow Honey Chemical Plant is a beautiful pinky mauve color that has gold flakes as well as hints of blue and purple as well.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Rainbow Honey Chemical Plant and finished it with 1 coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. The formula on this was a little thick, but with all the flecks that's packed in Chemical Plant I didn't mind at all. Depending on the light, you can even see orange as well. It was quite difficult to photograph. But gosh do I LOVE it!!

What do you think? I have no doubt that I'll be using this one again and again. Guess I should pick up this in a full size huh? LOL. You can find Rainbow Honey on Facebook as well as her website that has all of her polish and other goodies on it. If you're interested in signing up for her mystery bags, you can do so from her website. You can choose from full size or minis. Chemical Plant is my favorite Rainbow Honey polish to date, and I have a few! Her cuticle sticks are great for on the go too! That is it for today! I'll be back in a few days with another polish to share with you. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

MDJ Creations Dusk To Dawn

Happy hump day! It's finally the middle of yet another week! Hopefully yours is treating you well. Today, I'll be sharing with you Dusk To Dawn from MDJ Creations. Let's get started shall we?
I would describe Dusk To Dawn as a bluish gray jelly that has tons of different shapes and colors of glitters. You can find pink, white, blue and yellow glitters in the form of holo or matte. I love that it's a jelly and you can see all the different colors between the multiple coats I used. It's pretty freakin awesome! Oh, and did I mention that this bad boy glows in the dark?! LOL, I can't wait to go to bed and have them glow!!

For my mani I used 3 coats of Dusk To Dawn and topped it with 2 coats of Rainbow Honey unscented top coat. The formula on Dusk To Dawn was perfect! It was also very quick to dry! With everything that it has going on in it, the drying time really impressed me! Here comes the fun glow in the dark shot.....

It definitely glow brighter than what I'm showing above. I was being inpatient and wanted to snap the picture before it got crazy bright. I would have to say this is my 2nd favorite MDJ Creations polish that I own. It has so much depth and the colors that she used for this polish is absolutely stunning together. You can find MDJ Creations on Facebook and you can find her assortment of goodies on etsy. She offers everything from polish in full size and minis, jewelry and lip balm. She also has a chocolate mint lip balm that sounds like my favorite ice cream. So no matter what you're looking for, she's got ya covered. That's all I have for today. I'll be back later on this week to share some other things with you. Until then, take care!! XOXO
