MDJ Creations Mickey Marries Minnie

Good evening everyone! Tonight I'll be sharing with you another super fun polish from MDJ Creations! You'll be taking a peek at Mickey Marries Minnie. Let's get started shall we?
MDJ Creations Mickey Marries Minnie is a clear based glitter topcoat with black Mickey glitters, red hearts and other glitters in a rainbow of colors.

For my mani I chose to wear 2 coats of Mentality White as my base coat. Then I topped it with 2 coats of Mickey Marries Minnie and then finished it off with 2 coats of Rainbow Honey topcoat. I absolutely LOVE the versatility of Mickey Marries Minnie! With all the different colors of glitter that's packed in this, you could wear it over anything!

Just look how cute that heart it! You can find MDJ Creations on Facebook and you can pick up her polishes at her etsy shop. She is currently running a Mother's Day Special. All you need to do is go visit her etsy shop and enter coupon code MOTHERS30OFF30. That gets you 30% off a $30 order. MDJ Creations Bored Is Not In My Vocabulary

Good evening! It's finally the weekend! Just got home from spending the day out in the gorgeous weather watching my daughter kick some tail in her lacrosse tournament. So, it was a great day! Today I have for you a quick little review for MDJ Creations Bored Is Not In My Vocabulary.
Bored Is Not In My Vocabulary is a clear based glitter topper that has different sizes and shapes of purple and pink holo glitters. Since it's a set in a clear base, the colors you can put underneath are endless!

For my mani, I chose to use Essie Bond With Whomever as my undies. It's a pretty awesome pale lilac creme polish. I used 2 coats of the Essie and followed it up with 2 coats of my MDJ Creations Bored Is Not In My Vocabulary. I then followed it up with 2 coats of my trusty Digital Nails topcoat. I did leave this upside down for a few minutes to help bring some of the larger glitters down. It isn't something that I had to do, I just do that with all of my larger glitter polishes. I had no issues with formula or dry time with Bored Is Not In My Vocabulary.

I can't wait to play around with different base colors for this! MDJ Creations Bored Is Not In My Vocabulary has my 2 favorite colors in it, so I'll be getting a lot of use out of this one! You can find MDJ Creations on her Facebook page as well as her etsy shop. She offers a wide variety of different items, so she has something for everyone!
That's all I have for tonight! I'm off to do my nails for tonight! Don't forget to stop by my Facebook

MDJ Creations Sky Diving

Happy Easter everyone! I hope you had a wonderful day with your family! The weather here was absolutely perfect! Tonight I have for you MDJ Creations Sky Diving. My daughter saw this after I put it on and said it looked like a birthday cake. LOL. I just did a review of MDJ Creations Tropical Heat and you can find that here.
Sky Diving is a clear based glitter topper that would go perfect with any color of polish underneath. It is full of neon blue, green, pink, red and holographic multi shaped glitter. You can find small holo bars, large square, small square and hexes in Sky Diving. I really like that the bar glitters are small, they're much easier to get along with. The neon glitters also glow in the dark, which I will show you shortly!

For my mani I went with Mentality Bohemian for my undies. Bohemian is a beautiful light blue matte polish and I only needed to use 1 coat. I used 2 coats of MDJ Creations Sky Diving, and topped it off with some Rainbow Honey unscented top coat. Sky Diving has great formula and it dried very quickly.

Ready for some fun? In my description of MDJ Creations Sky Diving I mentioned that the neon glitters glow in the dark. Are you ready?

How cute are those little glitters?! I love how versatile this polish is! You can make it look completely different depending on the base color that you wear it over. Right now MDJ Creations is having a free shipping sale that is good until tomorrow. I've already picked out the next few polishes that I want to pick up. You can find her on her etsy shop as well as her Facebook page. You will find that she not only makes amazing polishes, but she offers a variety of other items as well in her shop. Make sure you stop by my Facebook page. I'm currently having a giveaway with some pretty awesome prizes! That's it for tonight. I'm off to enjoy the rest of the evening with the family! Until next time, take care!! XOXO

MDJ Creations Tropical Heat

Hello there! Hopefully you had a good day wherever you are. Old man winter decided to come back for a visit today. Boo!! Which makes me extra glad I had a nice bright mani to take the winter blues away! Tonight I'm sharing with you a indie that I've never tried before. MDJ Creations has an amazing variety of polishes! Varying from jellies, glitter toppers, glow in the dark polishes and holos. Oh, did I mention that she also offers lip balms and jewelry? Can't wait to try some of her other goodies! Tonight, let's take a look at Tropical heat shall we?
MDJ Creations Tropical Heat is a bright pinky coral glow in the dark polish that has square and micro holo glitter in it. I have a little thing for polishes that glow in the dark, so this one had me excited!

For my mani I used 1 coat of Glisten and Glow Stuck On Blue base coat, 3 coats of Tropical Heat and 1 coat of my trusty Digital Nails topcoat. Formula on this was great to work with and the formula was a breeze as well.

Ready for the glow in the dark picture?! I used my black light to get it to come out and play.

Isn't that awesome?! I have several glow in the dark polishes, and none of them look like this one. I really love the depth of this polish. I used a base coat with this one because it can stain the nail a little. You can find MDJ Creations on Facebook and you can find her shop over on etsy. She offers full size and mini bottles. I'll be sharing with you several more MDJ Creations over the next few days, so make sure you are following me on my Facebook page. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Ellagee Rainbow Fish and The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway Review

Good evening! I hope the start of the week has been good to you so far. Things have been pretty busy between my jobs, so I apologize for the lack of posts lately. Let's get started shall we? Tonight I have for you a couple polishes from Ellagee. She's a newer indie for me. These are the first couple polishes that I've tried from her. I'll start with Ellagee Rainbow Fish.
Ellagee Rainbow Fish is set in a clear base that has tons of translucent little circle and square glitters. There are blue, green, pink, yellow and orange. The name fits it perfect since it's a rainbow of colors.

For my undies I used Sinful Colors Candy Coated. I used 2 coats of Candy Coated and used 2 coats of Ellagee Rainbow Fish. I finished my mani with my go to topcoat Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. The dry time on Rainbow Fish was normal dry time and the formula was a tad thick just because something has to be able to support all those glitters!

Lastly, I have Ellagee The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway. It is a stunning turquoise and silver holographic glitter polish. Oh, did I mention that this baby is textured as well?! This is inspired by Elsa from the Disney movie Frozen.

For this mani I used 3 thin coats of The Cold Never Bothered Me Anyway. I made sure to give plenty of time between each of the coats to make sure they were dry before starting the next. Since I have a weird thing with textured polishes, I just had to topcoat it. I topped it with 2 coats of my Digital Nails, and I probably could've used a third just to get it a little smoother. This one was a little thick as well, but as pretty as the polish turned out it didn't bother me!

This one is intentionally blurred so that you can see how crazy awesome this is! It's like having crushed gemstones on my nails!

You can find Ellagee on Facebook. Since I am pretty sure you'll want to go pick up some Ellagee polishes, you can find them at her online store. Not only does she offer polish, she offers super cute key chains as well. I hope you all have a good rest of your week. Until next time, take care! XOXO

Above The Curve Playing For Peeps and This One's For My Peeps Review

Hello everyone! Hope you had a good day wherever you are. The weather here is feeling more and more like Spring, which makes these polishes perfect! Tonight I have for you a couple polishes to finish up my review for Above The Curve. In case you're just now finding me, Above The Curve is a husband and wife team that makes amazing polish. They're so awesome that they donate $1 of each polish sale to Shriner's Children Hospital.
Let's start with Playing for peeps! Playing for peeps is a turquoise cruelly that has fuchsia, yellow, pink, blue and green circle and hexes. It also has micro glitter in it as well. It's so cute!!

For my mani I used 3 coats of Above The Curve Playing For Peeps and finished it with 1 coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That topcoat. Dry time was very fast on this one.

This polish reminds me of the Easter candy that looks like a robin's egg. The colors in Playing For Peeps are so vibrant! Up next we have This One's For My Peeps! Above The Curve knocked it out of the park on this one! I'd have to say it's my favorite out of the 4 I've shown you. This One's For My Peeps is a lavender cream polish that has purple and blue micro glitters in it.

For my mani I used just 2 coats of This One's For My Peeps and topped it with 1 coat of my trusty Digital Nails topcoat. Formula on this one was perfect! It also was super fast drying as well. I loved everything about it! The colors are perfect together. I had issues getting the micro glitters to come out and play with my camera, but fear not they're in there!

The macro shot above shows the different colors pretty well. You can find these and many others of Above The Curve's polishes on their big cartel site for $8.50. These are just 2 of the Power To Your Peeps Spring Collection. They also have a Limited Edition polish out for Earth Day that you want to check out on their big cartel site as well. You really need to make sure that you're following them on Facebook as well. They have giveaways going on just about every week. That's all I have for tonight. I'm off to bed to hopefully get rid of this migraine. Until next time, take care! XOXO
