Lynnderella A Unicorn Walks Into A Bar

Hi there! I hope you had a great weekend. My daughter had a lacrosse tournament, and her team came in 2nd place. Today, I have for you a real treat! I promised you I would, and here it is!!! I was lucky enough to get Lynnderella's A Unicorn Walks Into A Bar as a gift from my amazing husband for our anniversary next week. I was shaking like crazy when I saw it! This is one of her most popular LE (limited editions) so far.
I took a picture from the back of the polish, just so that the sticker on the front of the bottle didn't cover everything. I mean just look at it! It's one of the most gorgeous polishes I've ever seen! A Unicorn Walks Into A Bar is described as "a Lisa Frank sticker book realized in nail polish. It contains a rainbow assortment of translucent neon hexagons with translucent white squares, stars, moons, hexes and hearts in a blue violet shimmered base." That's a perfect description for this polish! It's the perfect polish to go over just about any color polish.
For my mani, I chose Sinful Colors Cotton Candy and Sinful Colors Candy Coated. I applied 2 coats of each. I've used these so much since I bought them. They seem just the right color. Not too light, not too dark. For the picture below, I took the picture inside with flash.
On top of course I used 2 coats of Lynderella's A Unicorn Walks Into A Bar. I tipped the bottle over so that it was sitting on the cap so that the glitter would be easier to get to. I'm not a fan of having to fish for glitter, and this one I did none of that. I also topped it with 2 coats of Seche.
For the 2 above pictures, they were taken inside with flash. Since we had nice weather Saturday, I snuck a picture while I was watching my daughter at her tournament. That picture is below.
This is absolutely one of my favorite Lynn's that I have. Granted I don't have many, but this takes the cake. The colors just pop and they're so fun! If you're in the market for any Lynnderella polishes, your best bet is to look on eBay. Or, you may be lucky enough to catch some in blog sales. I've had this on for almost 3 days, and it still looks perfect. Well, that's all I have for now. I'll figure out what to post next.
Next Sunday is my 12th wedding anniversary, so I'm super excited! The best gift we could get this week is for my husband to get the phone call that we've BOTH been waiting for for over a month. Hopefully this week, he'll be called for the job we've been patiently waiting for. I hope y'all have a great week. I'll see you later!!

Nails Inc. Sprinkles

Hi there ladies! I hope this week is being good to you so far! I have a little post for you to look at tonight. Tonight I will be doing my review on Nails Inc. Sprinkles Topping Lane.
This beauty has been in with my untireds, so I decided to give her a try. Its so pretty!!! It has a pink bubblegum base that is filled with darker pink, purple and silver little sprinkles! It applied like a dream and it also dried very quick as well.
I only needed two coats for this mani. I also topped it with just two coats of Seche. I could've just done one coat, but I did two coats out of habit. As you can see, I had to cut my nails down to nubbins for a little while. I'm having problems with a couple of them being weak and flimsy. I'm pretty weird when it comes to my nails, they all have to be the same length. This pic was taken with the little bit of sunlight I had left.
This pic was taken indoors. I absolutely love this polish! Of course my favorite colors are pink and purple, so it's right up my alley. I purchased this from Sephora for just $9.50  If your Sephora doesn't have it, you can also pick it up online at http://www.sephora.com
At midnight tonight my 100 likes giveaway will be ending, so if you haven't already entered what are you waiting for?! LOL. Head on over to my Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/allthingsparkly and sign up! Well, that's all for tonight. I'll have an epic mani coming up later this week. It'll be the best mail day yet! Hope y'all have a good rest of your week. Take care!!

Zoya Pixie Dust Liberty and Chyna Review

Hi everyone. Today I have for you Zoya Pixie Dust Liberty and Chyna. This is my first time using the Pixie Dust, and so far I like it a lot more than I did OPI and their Liquid Sand.
I chose these colors Sunday night after my last post, and after what happened in Boston on Monday, I'm glad I did. The formula on these were pretty good. They were a little thick, but that tends to be the case with anything Pixie Dust or Liquid Sand related. I had no problem with application at all. I found the Pixie Dust not nearly as gritty as the Liquid Sand. Which I liked much better.
As you can tell from my above picture, I chose to put a top coat on over top of Liberty and Chyna. I would describe Liberty as the most beautiful color of cobalt/sapphire blue I've ever seen. Chyna looks like I'm wearing crushed rubies on my finger tips. I'm so happy with the colors and how they turned out. Zoya recommends not wearing any base coat or a top coat. I stuck with the no base coat rule, but I broke the no top coat rule. I just prefer to have a nice glassy finish. I used three coats of Liberty and Chyna. As far as the top coat, I used two coats of Gelous and topped it with one coat of Seche. Drying time was normal, I didn't find that I needed to wait any longer or anything. My above picture was taken with flash, now I'll show you the beauties in the sun!
Look at them just sparkle!!! I love how bright the colors are. I think these would be perfect for anything patriotic related. My husband was in the Army, so I'm very patriotic. I have no doubt what my 4th of July mani will be. You can find these to purchase at http://www.zoya.com/content/38/category/Zoya.html?brndid=38 for only $9 each. Zoya is always running specials, so keep you're eyes and ears open and you just may be able to get them cheaper. I know that Ulta sells Zoya, but I haven't heard if they will be getting the Pixie Dust Collection or not.

I hope that each and every one of you has a great week. Make sure you say some extra prayers or something for those that have been affected by the Boston explosions. I know I will be hugging my family extra tight tonight.

Illamasqua Raindrops

Hi guys. This will be a fairly quick post. Today I have for you Illamasqua Original Raindrops and Pink Raindrops. I was able to get into a group break for these, because I wasn't wanting to pay crazy shipping costs. I'm very glad I pulled the trigger and got them.
I'll be honest. When I saw them in their boxes, I was nervous. The one that I thought I wouldn't like the most, (Original Raindrops) I fell in love with. I like them both, but if I had to choose just one, it would for sure be Original. I would describe Original Raindrops as a sheer light grey that has a jelly finish with just a hint of blue flakes. I would describe Pink Raindrops as a sheer neutral pink that has pale pink flakes of sparkle throughout.
This was my first time using Illamasqua other than to swatch,  but I heard all the hype about their gorgeous Raindrops so I knew I had to give them a try. I used three coats of Original Raindrops and three coats of Pink Raindrops. Formula wise, they were very different. Original Raindrops was normal consistency and didn't seem thick at all. Pink Raindrops on the other hand, was pretty thick and nearly opaque in just one coat. They both applied beautifully. I only used one coat of Seche to top my mani off. If you're wanting something that has more glitter to it, definitely chose Pink Raindrops.
It's been pretty dreary here weather wise, so I wasn't able to get an outside shot. I was surprised that I liked the Original Raindrops better. Normally I go for the sparklier of the two. I've had this on for 3 days, and I don't even have any tip wear yet. If I didn't want to do another blog post, I honestly wouldn't take it off. Both Raindrops would look amazing in the summer with a tan or anytime of the year. I think it's safe for me to say, Original Raindrops will be my go to polish. It has that grey color, but it also has a hint of blue. You can purchase Illamasqua from http://www.illamasqua.com for $21.43 USD. Currently they're both sold out online, but you can sign up to be notified when they come back in stock.
Well ladies, I'm out. I hope you have had an awesome weekend. I'm hoping to kick this bug I have in time for my daughter's next lacrosse game. Have a beautiful week and I'll see you next time!

Nerd Lacquer Shiny

Hi ladies. I hope this finds you well and having a great week. Things are blah here, but at least I have awesome polish to look at! Tonight I have for you my review of Nerd Lacquer Shiny.
I would describe Shiny as a gorgeous sky blue that has a blue shift to it. It's also loaded with white, silver and opalescent blue glitter. I took tons of pictures before I could even come close to getting the color shift to come out and play.
Formula wise, it applied like a dream! I used 3 coats of Nerd Lacquer Shiny and 1 coat of Seche. I would have to say that this is my favorite Nerd that I've tried so far. I think it would look great on anybody.
All of the above pictures are taken with flash. Sometimes with glitter polishes you have to fish for the glitter, this one I did nothing special. I let the beautiful polish do all the talking. This last picture is outside in daylight.
You can see from the pictures, it doesn't matter whether you're inside or out. That sky blue is right there for you to enjoy! I was lucky to purchase Shiny from Nerd Lacquer's last restock. When it comes to her restocks, you have to be patient and have awesome internet connection. The majority of her polishes sell out within minutes. That should tell you how awesome her polishes are! You can purchase Shiny for just $10 here http://nerdlacquer.com/main.sc. I also just have to say that when it comes to durability, you can't go wrong with Nerds either. I had this on for over 3 days and had didn't want to take it off.
I hope that everyone has a nice weekend. I'll be spending mine with my oldest who is turning 14. Makes me feel old! LOL. Take care everyone!

Jamberry Review

Hi ladies. I'm super sorry for this roller coaster ride of what is called my blog. All kinks have been worked out, so it should be smooth sailing from here on out. Tonight for you I have a review of Jamberry Nails. This is my first time using them, and I really enjoyed them. Not only did I use them on myself, but also on my daughter Gaby. Which you will see below.

For Gaby's mani, I used just two coats of Zoya Chyna and part of a Jamberry Nail Shield of sour cherry pie. She was so excited to be able to participate with mom! Now comes my mani....

For my mani I used Jamberry Nail Shield Summer Chevron. Application was a complete breeze! For my first time it wasn't perfect, but I'm going to order more so that I can keep on using them. I think they're great if you just want that something extra for an accent nail. For the rest of my mani I used NailNation3000 Awesome Sauce. I've been a little blah lately, so I wanted something bright and fun. Normally I wouldn't go for orange polish, but I'm really glad I did. I love it! It was a little thick, but the application and drying time was fabulous. Below you can see the rest of the pics.

All the pictures were taken outside since the weather was finally nice for a change, except the last one. It was getting later in the evening, so I came in and took the last pic with flash. I mean, just look at that holo! It's the perfect fit to go along with the Jamberry. You can purchase Jamberry Nail Shields fromhttp://www.jamwithshea.jamberrynails.net/. They have 250 different designs to choose from, so there's something for everyone. There's different sizes based off your nail size. There's also some for the little ones. For a full sheet of Jamberry Nail Shields they cost $15. Definately go thru Shea, she's super helpful and sweet! As for the NailNation3000 polishes, you can purchase them from her personally on her Facebook page www.facebook.com/NailNation3000 has full size bottles for roughly $13, and she offers minis as well. Maria makes amazing polishes and you shouldn't hesitate getting anything from her. She also makes cuticle oil and top coats.
Well, I think that'll wrap things up. I'll work on something awesome for this week. Any questions or anything, feel free to let me know! Have a great week!
