Glittering Elements Review Part 2

Hi guys. I'm back with my 2nd half of the review I promised. I'm super excited to share these with you. I'll be showing you Midnight Magic and Rainbow SPLAT. Here we go....
I'll start with Midnight Magic. It's in between a dark blue and a black base that is jam packed with glitter. You'll find blue, red, pink, teal and silver pieces of glitter inside. It is so fun, I played around a little with the base I used. I've only seen it over black polishes, so I switched it up a little.
For my mani I used 3 coats of Cult Nails Faded, 2 coats of Midnight Magic and then topped it with 1 coat of Kbshimmer Clearly On Top Top Coat.
I thought that if I went with a lighter base, the glitter colors would show up a little better. With all the colors in this, you could use it over any color. Formula was a little thick, but she tells you on her Etsy site that she doesn't add any thinner to her polishes. She lets the buyer do that so that they can get it perfect for the way they want it. I think that's awesome!

You can find Glittering Elements on Facebook here. Since I know you'll want to know where to find all of her amazing polishes, you can find her Etsy shop here. Both polishes that I'm sharing with you are under $10.
Now let me show you my FAVORITE of the bunch!!!
What I'm going to share with you now, is called Rainbow SPLAT. First off, I absolutely adore the name! How fun is that?! If you're ever having a bad day or just want something super fun, pop this polish on and you will definitely be happier! Rainbow SPLAT is a clear based polish that is LOADED with different sizes and shapes of, can you believe rainbow glitter? Does it get any better than that? I don't think so.
Just look how gorgeous that is! Now do you see why it's my favorite?! If you think it's good in the bottle, just wait until you see it on. Since I could not decide on a base color, I went with a skittle mani. I used 3 coats of Cult Nails Devious Nature, 3 coats of Cult Nails Love At First Sight, 3 coats of Nakizzle's Shizzle and 3 coats of Cult Nails Faded. I topped those with just 1 coat of Rainbow SPLAT and for top coat I used Kbshimmer Clearly On Top Top Coat.

Look how gorgeous that is! I'm absolutely in love with that, can you tell? This is so versatile that you can wear it over absolutely anything! Please make sure you give her a like on Facebook and make sure you stop by her shop on Etsy. She just released some absolutely gorgeous holographic polishes. I can't wait to get my paws on them! I hope that you enjoyed my review on these polishes. Have a awesome weekend and a great 4th of July!!!

Glittering Elements Review Part 1 of 2

Hello there! I hope that your week treated you well. I'm beyond excited to introduce to you a brand spanking new indie by the name of Glittering Elements. I was so happy when we crossed each others paths in one of the Facebook polish rooms. Something I also found kinda fun is her name is also Casey!! Ok, onto business.
I have several polishes to share with you, so I have broke it up into a few different posts. Tonight, I'm showing you Little Pinky and Blue Bellz. This post will be pretty picture heavy, so I apologize in advance if you're not crazy about pictures.
First up is Little Pinky. Little Pinky is a soft pink shimmer base that has pink holo hexes, blue, yellow and mint green matte squares. It also has coral and red hexes as well. Here, take a look at the bottle shot.

I included a shot of the brush just so that you can see how it looks. It was awesome at picking up all the glitter pieces! For my mani I used 3 coats and I topped it off with 1 coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. The formula was perfect on Little Pinky. I played around with using different undies for it. I went with Sinful Colors Snow Me White. However, I think it would look amazing over a soft pink.

The thing I loved most about this polish, is it didn't matter if you were in full sun like I was for the first 2 pictures or if you're in the shade. The colors of the glitter that she used in this is absolutely perfect! I'll post all the contact info for Glittering Elements at the end of the post since I'm showing you 2 newbies.

Secondly, I have Blue Bellz to share with you. I thought that I had my favorite picked out of the ones that I was sent. This has now become my favorite of the two. Blue Bellz is a blue pastel shimmer that has periwinkle blue hexes in it. It also has turquoise, green and white micro glitter. Casey packed this polish full of tons of glittering goodness! Here, take a look at the polish and you can see.....

Again, I wanted to show the pic of the brush. This was a little different than the brush in Little Pinky. I thought the other brush was a little easier to work with. This one had a tendency to show brush strokes. I also thinned this one just a little bit. For my mani using Blue Bellz, I used 4 thin coats and just 1 coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. I was concerned that I would have to use undies for this polish. But it turned out perfect by itself.

Since I've put this polish on, I can't stop staring at my nails! I've had a pretty crappy week, and this definitely puts a smile on my face. This one as well as Little Pinky you can enjoy the colors no matter if you're in the sun or the shade.
You can find Glittering Elements on Facebook here. If you're interested in ordering any of her amazing polishes, which I totally think you should, visit her etsy shop here. You can pick any of her polish for just $9.46.
I will have the second part of my review probably the middle of next week. Today is the first day of summer, so I hope you can get out this weekend and enjoy it! Until next time, take care!!

Puzzled & Polished Hair Pins

Hello there. Sorry for there being such a gap in between posts. I started a new job last week, so I'm still getting used to everything. I hope that you had a nice weekend. This post will be a little something different from polish. I hope you enjoy it!
Tonight I have for you a set of hair pins that I won from a blogger giveaway. Here, let me show you....
What I like the most with these hair pins are they're totally customizable. I got to choose what color I wanted and what type I wanted. I absolutely loved these!
It doesn't matter if you have shorter hair like mine, or long hair. These are great for all types of hair! If you're interested in getting ahold of Puzzled & Polished, you can find her on Facebook here.
You can also email her if you have any questions puzzledandpolished@gmail.com.
I hope y'all enjoyed my quick little post. If you didn't see on my Facebook page, on Sundays I'll be dedicating all of my manis to True Blood. I'm a huge fan, and I think it would be a blast. If you would like to see anything, please feel free to let me know! Thanks for reading and have a great week!!

Digital Nails Stars At Night

Hello! Hopefully you have had a nice week. Mine was a little crazy. But, I have a pretty awesome polish to share with you tonight. I have Digital Nails Stars At Night. It's one of her newest ones that she released a couple weeks ago. I'm so glad I decided to get it when I did. It's a beauty, but I'll let the polish show you!

For my mani I used four thin coats of Stars At Night. It's the most beautiful cobalt blue holo polish that I have seen! Even in the bottom picture which was taken in the shade with normal light, you can still see the holo effect. It applied like a dream, as does all the rest of her polishes. I've yet to have one of Digital Nails polishes that I don't fall in love with. I topped it with just one coat of her brand spanking new top coat that's called Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. It's just as good if not better than Seche in my opinion! The top coat you can find in her etsy shop for $6 and you can find Stars At Night for $13. Both are sold out right now, but here are the links to her etsy shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/DigitalNails and her Facebook page as well https://www.facebook.com/DigitalNails. Make sure you follow her on Facebook just because that's where she gives you sneak peeks and all the details of her restocks.
I hope you have enjoyed my post. My next post will be a little different, so make sure you follow me on Facebook! Have a great weekend everyone!

My Ten Friends Earthlings In Love

Hello ladies! Hopefully you're having a pleasant weekend. Tonight I have for you the second part of My Ten Friends post. I'd love to share with your a super cute polish that's called Earthlings In Love.
This is a hot pink polish that has red and silver glitters along with fuchsia micro glitter. This polish was also a little thick, but totally worth it! I used a bright pink polish from Mary Kay so that  the glitter would pop more.

For my mani I used two coats of Mary Kay pink and two coats of My Ten Friends Earthlings In Love. Then I topped it with one coat of Seche. Not only was the formula nice to work with, but it also dried super fast as well. You can find My Ten Friends on etsy http://www.etsy.com/shop/MyTenFriends and as well as Overall Beauty http://overallbeauty.com. One of the nice things with her polishes are they aren't very expensive. They will run you roughly $10. You can also find My Ten Friend on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/MyTenFriends. I hope you guys enjoyed my post. I'm getting ready to do a guest post over at Intensepolishtherapy. I'm super excited for the opportunity! Hope y'all have a great rest of your weekend!!!
