MDJ Creations Night Lights

Happy Monday! It has been the best type of Monday in my house! We will be moving in the next couple weeks, so that has had me all sorts of crazy. But, today I was offered a job where we will be living. I was in the middle of doing my nails when I got the call, so this mani is extra special! Tonight, I'll be sharing with you MDJ Creations Night Lights. The name for this polish is absolutely perfect! This reminds me exactly of what it looks like when I look up into the sky at night.
MDJ Creations Night Lights is a beautiful black jelly polish that has holographic glitter in different shapes as well as being holographic.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Night Lights and topped it with my Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. The formal on this was perfect as was dry time. The first couple pictures are taken inside using artificial light due to the weather not behaving. Even in the inside lights, you can still see that holo jumping off the nail. This polish also glows in the dark, but since the weather was less than perfect today, I couldn't get it charged enough using my black light.

I'd have to say this is my 2nd favorite of the polishes that I have purchased from MDJ Creations. I honestly don't have anything else like it in my collection, and I have quite the collection. LOL. Right now she is on vacation, but she'll be back August 3rd. You can find MDJ Creations on Facebook as well as her etsy shop. She offers not just polish, but also offers jewelry as well as lip balm. Make sure you go check her out. That's all I have for tonight. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Digital Nails Wow and Much Glitter

Hello there! Hope you're having a good start to your week. Today I'll be showing you Digital Nails Wow and Much Glitter. I hope you like awesome polish, because this post will be full of it! I'll start with Wow. Let's get started shall we?
Digital Nails Wow is inspired by a game from Facebook that Raph got hooked on. If she makes polishes like this after she gets hooked on a game, I hope she gets hooked on more games in the future! Wow is an incredible silver linear holographic polish. I love that it's a soft shade of silver if that makes sense. It's so soft and delicate looking.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Wow and topped it off with Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. I could have got away with 2 coats, but I did a third out of habit. I still had slight VNL, but I was so mesmerized by the rainbows in this polish I didn't even care. Formula wise, it's stellar and it had a very quick dry time. This is my 1st silver holo and I'll just say, it definitely won't be my last.
Lastly, I have for you Digital Nails Much Glitter. Much Glitter was also inspired by the same video game that Wow came from. See why I said she needs to get hooked on more games?! Much Glitter is a clear based glitter that has almost every color from the rainbow in it. You can find micro glitters, triangles, squares, hexes and a couple different size stars. There are 20 different types of glitter packed in these bottles.

For my mani I layered Much Glitter over Wow. I thought with the color of Wow, it would be a good canvas for all the different colors and shapes of glitter in Much Glitter. I did 2 dabbed coats and topped it with 2 coats of Gelous. Formula and dry time on this was very good as well. I did place my bottle upside down for a little while so that all the glitters came down easily. I love that no matter what, when you put the brush back in the bottle you'll be getting some sort of glitter on it. With all the colors in Much Glitter, there is no wrong base color to use with it. You can find Digital Nails on Facebook as well as etsy where you can find all of her polish as well as her top coat that I would swear by. No matter what your taste, Digital Nails has something for everyone. She also has some pretty amazing thermal polishes as well. That's all I have for today. Take some time and go give Digital Nails a like on Facebook so you can keep up with all her updates. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Rainbow Honey Chemical Plant

Hello! Sorry it's been so quiet. I'm working thru some stuff at home. Today, I'll be sharing with you a new polish from Rainbow Honey called Chemical Plant. If you receive the mystery bag she offers, you would've seen this in your bag. I just have to say, Rainbow Honey has one of the BEST mystery bags that I have ever received. There is tremendous value in what you receive and you get a little bit of everything each month. I receive the mini size, and I really enjoy it! If you're interested in getting her mystery bag, I'll provide the link to her site below.
Rainbow Honey Chemical Plant is a beautiful pinky mauve color that has gold flakes as well as hints of blue and purple as well.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Rainbow Honey Chemical Plant and finished it with 1 coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That. The formula on this was a little thick, but with all the flecks that's packed in Chemical Plant I didn't mind at all. Depending on the light, you can even see orange as well. It was quite difficult to photograph. But gosh do I LOVE it!!

What do you think? I have no doubt that I'll be using this one again and again. Guess I should pick up this in a full size huh? LOL. You can find Rainbow Honey on Facebook as well as her website that has all of her polish and other goodies on it. If you're interested in signing up for her mystery bags, you can do so from her website. You can choose from full size or minis. Chemical Plant is my favorite Rainbow Honey polish to date, and I have a few! Her cuticle sticks are great for on the go too! That is it for today! I'll be back in a few days with another polish to share with you. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

MDJ Creations Dusk To Dawn

Happy hump day! It's finally the middle of yet another week! Hopefully yours is treating you well. Today, I'll be sharing with you Dusk To Dawn from MDJ Creations. Let's get started shall we?
I would describe Dusk To Dawn as a bluish gray jelly that has tons of different shapes and colors of glitters. You can find pink, white, blue and yellow glitters in the form of holo or matte. I love that it's a jelly and you can see all the different colors between the multiple coats I used. It's pretty freakin awesome! Oh, and did I mention that this bad boy glows in the dark?! LOL, I can't wait to go to bed and have them glow!!

For my mani I used 3 coats of Dusk To Dawn and topped it with 2 coats of Rainbow Honey unscented top coat. The formula on Dusk To Dawn was perfect! It was also very quick to dry! With everything that it has going on in it, the drying time really impressed me! Here comes the fun glow in the dark shot.....

It definitely glow brighter than what I'm showing above. I was being inpatient and wanted to snap the picture before it got crazy bright. I would have to say this is my 2nd favorite MDJ Creations polish that I own. It has so much depth and the colors that she used for this polish is absolutely stunning together. You can find MDJ Creations on Facebook and you can find her assortment of goodies on etsy. She offers everything from polish in full size and minis, jewelry and lip balm. She also has a chocolate mint lip balm that sounds like my favorite ice cream. So no matter what you're looking for, she's got ya covered. That's all I have for today. I'll be back later on this week to share some other things with you. Until then, take care!! XOXO

My 4th of July Mani

Good evening everyone! I wanted to take a quick second to wish all of you a very safe and happy 4th of July tomorrow! I'm actually off work, so I'm hoping to enjoy some sleeping in and some family time. Tonight I wanted to share with you my mani that I did for the 4th. I used some Mentality polishes, as well as some Pop Culture Cosmetics stencils. Let's get started!
For my mani I used my latest polishes from Mentality. The white is Sunny, the red is Beautiful and the blue is Tough. The formula on these were amazing as usual with any Mentality polishes. I used 2 coats for all colors used. For the Pop Culture Cosmetics stencils, I used a medium star as well as some stripes. After I was finished I realized my star is a little crooked and my lines aren't perfectly straight, but I still like it none the less. I topped it off with my Ellagee Glass top coat. The directions for using the stencils are as follows: 1. Let your base color completely dry. 2. When placing the stencil onto the nail, make sure to lightly press down in the corners to prevent any polish from getting underneath. 3. Paint over top of the stencil using 1-2 coats of polish of your choice. 4. Make sure to remove the stencil while the polish is still wet. 5. Allow enough time for your mani to dry and apply your favorite top coat.

If you're interested in picking up and of the items I used for my mani, you can find Mentality on Facebook and you can also find Pop Culture Cosmetics on Facebook as well as the shop here. Mentality is known for their matte polishes and the have a huge variety to choose from. They're in the process of changing to a new website, so make sure you stop by the Facebook page for Mentality and give them a like so that you can keep up to date with everything. Pop Culture Cosmetics is also currently running a pretty awesome sale. There is NO code needed and you get 35% off your order! The sale end July 6th, so make sure you get your order in before then.
I hope you all have a great end to the week. Until next time, take care!! XOXO

These stencils were sent to me for review. The opinions given are my own and aren't influenced in any way.
