Hare Swanky Soiree Review

It's finally football season!!!! Can ya tell that I'm excited?! As promised, here is my Ohio State Buckeyes mani for their 1st game today. I bought Hare Swanky Soiree from a blog sale because it was Buckeyes colors. Hadn't used it yet, so today was the perfect time to bust it out!

Swanky Soiree is a gray based polish loaded with different sizes of gray and red glitter. I've only used 1 other Hare Polish, but the formula on this was super thick, so I added a few drops of thinner to it. Made it MUCH easier to work with!! I used 4 coats of Swanky Soiree and topped it off with 1 coat of Gelous and 1 coat of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That topcoat. I'm sure with all the glitter it'll be a pain in the ass to remove, but it's well worth it!!

The last picture is when the sun finally decided to come out and play. LOL. I love the colors of Swanky Soiree. Now that it's Fall, I'll be grabbing this one quite a bit. Hare Polish doesn't offer Swanky Soiree anymore, but you can find some of her other polishes on her Etsy site. You can also find her polishes on Llarowe. She just came out with a new collection, so make sure you stop by and take a look! If you're not already, you should follow Hare on Facebook
Well, I'm off to indulge in more college football! Hope y'all have a great weekend!! Until next time, take care!!! XO

Set of 3 JK Customs Polishes Review

Hello there! I hope you're having a good hump day! I'm crazy excited to share with you my post for today. I've been polish crazy for about a year now, and I've always stuck to basic polish application. I've of course added glitter on top or something very basic. Tonight, I stepped out of my comfort zone and I fell in love with what I did. I'm in a group with the awesome lady behind JK Customs. I saw a pic of the colors, the names and I KNEW that I had to have them. So I wanted to come up with something that I thought was as awesome as the colors and the names. Here we go!!!

The pink one is called Dick Mittens. The teal is called C U Next Tuesday. Lastly the purple is called If You Seek Amy. These are my favorite polishes that I have purchased in a while. I mean who wouldn't love a polish named Dick Mittens?! LMAO!! Each of the colors have a ton of shimmer in them, which I love as well. Let me show you what I decided to do with them.

Even with the last pic being in natural light, the colors are absolutely amazing!!! I started with 2 coats of Dick Mittens and used 1 coat of If You Seek Amy and C U Next Tuesday for the animal print. Not only are the colors gorgeous, the formula on these were awesome as well! This is my very 1st time doing animal print. I have to say I it's so fun!! This obviously isn't your normal animal print colors, but I think it turned out ok being my 1st time. I topped everything off with 2 coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Topcoat. These 3 polishes are no longer available, but she has lots more that you can pick up. Check her out on Facebook. You should also definitely check out JK Customs shop
Well, that's all I've got for tonight. However, this weekend is the start of college football. FINALLY!!!! I'm a huge Ohio State fan, so I'll be sharing something scarlet and gray with you. Hope y'all have a good rest of your week. Until next time, take care!! XO

Glittering Elements Candy Love and Mermaid Spell Review

Hello there! I promised you the other half of the review from Glittering Elements, and here it is! Tonight I have for you Candy Love and Mermaid Spell. Candy Love is discontinued, but she may be making a come back sometime. I'll start with her first.
Candy Love is a light pink polish that is filled with various sizes of glitter in blue, pink, white and yellow. It has bar glitter in it, which had me a little worried. Since normally bar glitter and I don't get along, but she behaved very well! LOL. Take a look and tell me what you think.....

I was a little worried when I first saw it thinking I would need to use undies for it. But it ended up building up nicely! I used 3 coats of Candy Love and I topped it with 2 coats of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Topcoat. Candy Love was so soft and pretty, very feminine. I liked that it had all the different colors of glitter in it. Formula was pretty good. If you've ever bought from Glittering Elements, she tells you on her Etsy site that she let you add thinner to it if you feel that it needs it. So far in all the polishes I've reviewed for her, I've yet to need to add thinner. Now for Mermaid Spell. I don't even know where to begin with this beauty. It's a light turquoise holo that also has blue flecks in it. You weren't expecting the blue flecks were ya? Neither was I!! I'll start with the pictures as usual and then go from there.

Isn't it absolutely beautiful?! Out of the 4 that I reviewed for Casey, this is my 2nd favorite for sure! The formula was perfect on this. I used 3 coats, but could've got away with 2 if I wanted to. Then I topped it off with 1 coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Topcoat. Even with the shot of the bottle, you can see the holographic goodness. Oh and I didn't mention that that picture was taken inside with natural light too! I don't think this could get any better honestly. You can pick this up for $12.50 AUD in the Glittering Elements etsy shop. You will want to make sure that you stop by because Casey is planning a restock for Friday. Just in case you're not already, you should follow her on Facebook so that you can keep up with all her new polishes she has coming out.
That's all I have for now. I'll be working on getting something up for this weekend. I have a couple Colors by Llarowe that have been calling my name. Hope y'all have a great finish to the week! Until then, take care!!

Glittering Elements Choco-o-block and Electrik Blossom Review

Hello there! I hope y'all are doing well. I've been working a crazy amount of hours, so I apologize for the lack of posts. I hope this will make up for it a little! Tonight I have for you a couple of pretty amazing polishes from my good buddy Casey from Glittering Elements. She is one of the sweetest people that I've come across. Oh, and did I mention that she makes some gorgeous polishes?! The first one I'll show you is Electrik Blossom.
Electrik Blossom is a bubblegum pink holo. It's the perfect shade of pink! The formula was a little thick on this one, but one of the things that I love about Glittering Elements polishes is she doesn't add thinner or anything to them prior to you buying them. So that you can make them just the perfect constancy that is right for you. When I put the first coat on, I was worried about it building up enough to cover my VNL. It covered everything perfectly! It went on perfect as usual. I used 3 coats and I topped with 1 coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat. This picture above and the one I'm about to show you is in the shade.
Even in the shade you can see the holographic rainbows in it! Now comes the full sun!!

As I was driving to work the next day, I couldn't stop staring at my nails! If you're not a fan of pink, I've got something else to show you.
The other polish that I'm sharing with you is Choco-o-block. It's a chocolate brown holographic polish. I think when you include chocolate and holographic polish, it doesn't get any better!! The formula on this one wasn't as thick as Electrik Blossom. I still used 3 coats of Choco-o-block and 1 coat of KBShimmer Clearly On Top Quick Dry Top Coat. I'll tease you with the shade pictures first. LOL

Even with the sun behind the clouds, you can still see how holographic it is. Are you ready?! I'll give you a minute to put your shades on........

You can see that bad boy from a mile away! I normally pick pinks or purples for my favorites, but there was just something about this one. I think with going into Fall, I'll grab Choco-o-block quite a bit. I honestly can't say enough good things about Glittering Elements. She has her shop closed right now due to y'all loving her polishes so much she needs to get caught up on orders. You need to check her out on Etsy. I'm pretty sure you can pick these up for around $12. Once I have a exact price, I'll update here. Don't forget, she's also on Facebook. If you're in the market for a super awesome top coat, go check out KBShimmer. She is currently celebrating 5th anniversary, so she has 20% only at her site.

I hope you enjoyed those as much as I did! I have 2 others to share with you that are also from Glittering Elements. I'm hoping to get them up by the beginning of next week, if not earlier. I hope y'all have a great week!! Until next time, take care!!!
