Sassy Polish Animal House Collection Part 1

Hi there! Hope you're having a good start to your week. Tonight I have for you another new collection from Sassy Polish. This one is called Animal House, based off the movie obviously. I do need to apologize for the shape my cuticles are in. I was cut with a box cuter at work, so it's on the mend. Let's get started shall we?
First up, I have Toga! Toga! Toga!. It's a white jelly that has small iridescent bar glitter in it as well as tiny little rainbow glitters.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Toga! Toga! Toga! Even though normally I'm not a fan of bar glitter, I had no formula issues or anything. Dry time was also very good.

Aren't those little glitters just perfect?! Next up I have Double Secret Probation. This polish is free if you purchase the entire collection, which is well worth the money! I'll provide the details at the end of my post. Double Secret Probation is a white jelly that has holographic glitter in it. It also has a beautiful pink flash to it as well. This one hands down has been my favorite of them so far!!

For my mani I used 3 coats of Sassy Polish Double Secret Probation. Everything about this polish was perfect!

Next up we have 7 years of college. This one is a turquoise holographic beauty! This one is also one of my favorites!

For my mani I used just two coats of 7 years of college. Formula and dry time on this was also perfect!

That has to be my favorite shot of 7 years of college! It is just gorgeous!! Almost done, still with me? Next up I have Is It Supposed 2 B.....This Soft. Sassy Polish has made this one a peachy pink thermal. When it is in it's warm state, it's a beautiful nude peach.

For my mani I used also just 2 coats of Is It Supposed 2 B....This Soft. I wasn't able to get my hands warm enough to get it to turn, but driving in my husbands car the next day, sure enough it changed. My hands were all dry, or I would've taken a picture. Keep an eye on my blog and I will post a transitional picture so that you can see it change.

Lastly, I will finish up with Flounder's 10,000 Marbles. LOL I did get a kick out of the name. This collection will make me want to watch the movie for sure! Flounder's is a clear based glitter topper with blue micro glitter and a rainbow of small circle glitters. This was another one of my favorites!

For my mani I used 2 dabbed coats of Flounder's 10,000 Marbles over top of Is It Supposed 2 B...This Soft. This would be so easy to use over any color of polish.

The Animal House Collection  is available NOW in full size for $58 as well as $34. If you purchase the entire collection, you get double secret probation for FREE!!! I still have some sun reactive polishes as well as some thermals to share with you in Part 2. You can find Sassy Polish on Facebook as well as Instagram. If you're interested in purchasing this collection, you can find her on Storenvy. I'll have the rest of the Animal House Collection up very soon! Until then, take care!! XOXO

Sassy Polish 50 Shades Of Sassy Part 2

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. I spent yesterday watching the Super Bowl, and all I can say is WOW!! In case you missed my Sassy Polish 50 Shades Of Sassy Part 1, you can find it here. Let's take a look at Part 2 shall we?
First up we have Safe Words which is a light orange thermal polish with red glitters.

For my mani I used 3 easy coats of Safe Words and finished it with my favorite topcoat. If you aren't a fan of visible nail line (VNL), you can always layer this over top of another color. I just didn't here so that you can see how it builds by itself.

This picture was taken after I ran extremely HOT water over my nails. My hands are always cold, so I wasn't able to get a good transition. But that's no fault of Safe Words!

Next up I have Sassy Polish Lip Biter. It's very similar to Safe Words, but Lip Biter is sun reactive. Where I live has been in full winter mode, so there was no sun out to play. Lip Biter is light pink with pink and red glitters. This would be perfect for Valentine's Day!

For my mani I used 3 coats of Lip Biter. Formula and dry time on this was easy breezy! I finished it with 1 coat of topcoat.

Lastly I have Meeting Mr. Grey which is a clear based glitter topper with light gray hexes and tiny little gray glitters.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Meeting Mr. Grey. I'm pretty excited about this one. I'm a BIG Ohio State Buckeyes fan, so I see using this over some scarlet polish during football season or over a pink or red for Valentine's Day. The possibilities are endless!

You can pick up the whole 50 Shades Of Sassy Collection as well as other hand care goodies over at Sassy Polish's Storenvy. Sassy Polish is also available to follow on Facebook as well as Instagram. She's coming out with a collection next that takes me back to my childhood. You won't want to miss it! With the winter being so harsh, Sassy Polish also has some hand scrubs to help scrub away that dead skin. Until next time, take care and stay warm!! XOXO

Sassy Polish 50 Shades of Sassy Collection Part 1

Hi there! Hope you've had a good week so far. Today I have for you half of the 50 Shades of Sassy Collection by a new to me indie Sassy Polish. Let's jump right on it shall we?
First up we have Enlighten Me. It's a medium gray jelly polish that is full of rainbow colored flakies.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Enlighten Me and topped it with my Ellagee topcoat. It has a great formula and I absolutely LOVE that I can see the flakies thru each layer!

Next we have Lost In Lust. It's a super sexy silver that has little hexes and holographic shards thru out. It also has a light dusting of holographic glitter thrown in there as well.

For my mani I used 3 coats of Lost In Lust, however I could have got away with only using 2 coats. I finished it off by using my Ellagee topcoat and Lost In Lust has a great formula.

This picture is intentionally blurry so that you can see the holographic aspect of it. I'm super crazy about this macro shot of Lost In Lust! It's a great shot to show the hexes as well as the holographic shards.

Lastly, I have Sassy Polish Roped In The Red Room. It's a clear based glitter topper that has red micro glitters, red hexes as well as holographic hearts. I'm already picturing wearing this a bunch of different ways!

For my mani I used just 2 dabbed coats of Roped In The Red Room over top of Lost In Lust. I thought that they paired perfectly together! Formula on this was just like the others, and I did have to do a little fishing to get my heart out.

Just look at that sweet little heart!! Sassy Polish's 50 Shades Of Sassy is set to release February 1st and it is a set of 6 polishes. You can purchase them in full-size for just $7 and the minis are just $4. The ones that I'm posting in the next couple days, Lip Biter and Safe Words will be $7.50 for full-size and $4.50 for the minis. If you're just now finding out about Sassy Polish like I am, you can find her on Facebook as well as Instagram. You can find her polishes as well as her sugar scrubs in her Storenvy. I really enjoy that she offers minis as well as full size so that you can pick up a mini just to get your feet wet and see what she's all about. Like I mentioned above, I'll have the rest of the 50 Shades Of Sassy Collection up over the weekend. Until then, take care and stay warm!! XOXO

Ellagee F5! F5!

Happy hump day!!! Hope you've had a good week so far! Tonight I have for you an Ellagee Limited Edition that I'm so glad I was able to pick up! Let's take a look!
Ellagee F5! F5! was part of the shopping madness trio that Ellagee released from Black Friday until Cyber Monday. Since it was purple and holographic, I knew I had to have it! If you're familiar with refreshing a page during a nail polish restock, you will know that you have to constantly hit F5 in order to get the page to reload the fastest. I have spent countless afternoon/evenings doing that, so I thought the name was genius!! Ellagee F5! F5! is a grape purple holographic polish. The day after I put this on, I had a customer grab my hand at work and tell me how amazing this polish was! It was great to hear that someone completely unknown to indie polishes agreed with me.

For my mani I used just 2 easy breezy coats of F5! F5! and topped it off with my Ellagee topcoat. Formula and dry time on this was flawless. Unfortunately the weather here hasn't been very pleasant, so the pics that I've taken are indoors.

If you can see all those rainbows from the holo that Ellagee put in here, just imagine how sparkly this is in the sun!! Like I mentioned above, this one is an Limited Edition, but you can find her polishes on her website. You can also find Ellagee on Facebook as well as on Instagram. You can find numerous different colors of polishes on her website as well as her topcoat. I've been using her topcoat since she sent it to me to review, and it's one of my favorites! If you do nail art, it is fast drying and it doesn't smear or have any shrinkage. I've got my eye on her newest thing to release which is lickety split latex mani mask. Can't wait to get my hands on that one! Well, that's all I've got tonight. I hope you enjoyed F5! F5! as much as I did. Make sure you go over and check out Ellagee's website and see all that she has to offer. I'll be back in a couple days with a new to me indie that I can't wait to share with you! Until then, take care!! XOXO

Shleee Polish Parasprites

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!! I hope that you had a safe and fun night last night! I stayed inside and paid some attention to my neglected nails and spent time with my family. Today I'll be sharing with you Shleee Polish Parasprites. Let's get started!
Just in case you don't know what a Parasprite is, they're these adorable tiny winged creatures that resemble an insect in an episode of My Little Pony. Just in case you're wondering what they look like, this may help.

Aren't they cute?! She captured these little Parasprites perfectly! Shleee Polish Parasprites is a rainbow of multiple size circle glitters that are set in a clear base that also has tiny little glitters in it.

For my mani I used 2 coats of Parasprites and topped it with my favorite topcoat. The formula on this was perfect! With all of the glittery goodness that's packed in here, I was prepared for it to be a thicker formula, but it wasn't. I also didn't have to put the bottle upside down like I normally do. I did use the dab method so that I could get the little Parasprites everywhere! The dry time was also very quick.

This picture is intentionally blurry so that you can see the tiny little glitters I mentioned!

This polish is perfect in so many ways! You can use it over absolutely any color of undies, so it's super versatile. If you're a fan of MLP like we are in my house, you just have to check out Shleee Polish! She has a huge MLP polish selection over on her etsy site. You also want to make sure that you are following her on her Facebook and on Instagram so that you are up to date with her new releases. In fact, she has some new pretties releasing tomorrow. So you won't want to miss that.
That's all I have for today. Until next time, take care!!XOXO

Simply Beautiful Kacy

Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you've had a good weekend! Tonight I'm going to be sharing with you a custom from Simply Beautiful she called Kacy. I'm kinda partial to the name LOL. Let's get started!
Simply Beautiful Kacy is in a clear base but it is full of pink holographic micro glitters. It's my favorite color, so of course I just love it!

For my mani I used 3 coats of Simply Beautiful Kacy and topped it with 2 coats of Ellagee glass topcoat. Formula was just a tad thick, but that's only because of all the glitter she has packed into it! If it is something that bothers you, you can always feel free to add just a touch of thinner to it. Dry time on Kacy was very quick!

I generally do all of my swatching at night, so I tried forever to get a good picture of all the sparkle that Simply Beautiful packed into Kacy. The above picture captures it beautifully! She has tons of other polishes over at her shop as well. She offers a very wide variety of colors, and I can't wait to pick up some more. You can also find Simply Beautiful on instagram, that's where she is most active.
That's all I have for tonight. I'm off to watch some Sunday Night Football! Until next time, take care!! XOXO

Shleee Polish Derpy 2.0

Good evening! Hope you're having a nice weekend so far! Tonight I have for you another Shleee Polish. This one is called Derpy 2.0. This is a remake of the original Derpy Hooves that Shleee made and had a big enough interest in so she remade it. I have to say, I love it! Let's take a look!
Shleee Polish Derpy 2.0 is one of her polishes from the My Little Pony collection. Derpy 2.0 is a light bluish gray jelly that has yellow flower, heart and circle glitters. As if that wasn't enough, Shleee added a blue and purple shimmer to it as well. It matches Derpy the My Little Pony character perfectly! I only know that because my daughter is obsessed with Derpy, and I may have watched an episode or two with her. LOL.

For my mani I used just 2 coats of Derpy 2.0 and finished it with 2 coats of Digital Nails Ain't Nobody Got Time For That topcoat. Formula on Derpy 2.0 was perfect and dry time was amazing as well. Normally these murky colors look funky on me, but I really enjoyed this one! I love that the sizes of the yellow glitters aren't too big. I wasn't able to get any of the heart or flower glitter, but I promise that they're in there.

So what do you think of Shleee Polish Derpy 2.0? I hope you love it as much as I do. If you're wondering what the original Derpy Hooves looked like, you can find Shleee Polish on Facebook and in her latest post today, it shows the 2 bottles next to one another. I love how she did this polish, I really do! She has a HUGE selection of polish on her etsy. She has an amazing amount of different MLP polishes, in fact, she just listed one earlier this week. But if MLP isn't your thing, no worries! Just yesterday she released a glitter polish that looks like something off the cover of a Lisa Frank cover. It is so fun! Just take my word for it that you need to go take a peek for yourself! She has something for absolutely everyone! I've only been getting her polishes for a little over a month, and I already have almost double digits.
That's all I have for tonight! I hope you have a good week next week and have a very Happy Thanksgiving! Until next time, take care and I'm thankful for each and every one of you!! XOXO
